Salamander invests in Türkheim site
Salamander Industrie-Produkte GmbH (www.sip-windows.com), one of Europe's leading system suppliers and manufacturers of energy-saving quality PVC window systems invests some two million euros in the expansion of its Türkheim facility. On 29th June 2011 eight new raw material silos were erected to increase storage capacity at the site. For Salamander this investment is another phase in the strategic process of developing company headquarters.

Salamander: Partner conference in Turkey is a success

New mixing facility for production plant in Poland

Salamander: Götz Schmiedeknecht - new member of business management
Türkheim, 14.01.2010 - Götz Schmideknecht (38) is a new member of the four man business management of Salamander Industrie-Produkte GmbH and in this position, is responsible for parts of export sales, product management, R&D, purchasing, eCommerce and has joint responsibility for marketing.
The Salamander manager has many years of experience and know-how in the area of strategic orientation and management of companies, marketing and strategic and operative eBusiness.Most recently he had overall responsibility, as Global Head of eCommerce for PUMA AG in Herzogenaurach, for the sporting goods manufacturer’s worldwide eCommerce.
In 1998, he completed his internationally oriented course of studies as Diplom Betriebswirt (graduate in business studies) at the Technical University of Regensburg. He commenced his professional career in 1998 as a management consultant with his main focus on strategy development for medium sized companies, was responsible as project manager for many projects and participated in the founding of his own consultancy company in the area of strategic eBusiness in 2000. He was in senior management positions between 2002 and 2009 with Marc O’Polo AG, s.Oliver Bernd Freier GmbH and most recently with PUMA AG.
Thus, the change in the management of Salamander Industrie-Produkte is progressing according to plan in order to continue the positive developments of recent years. Dr. Heyo Schmiedeknecht, who organised the management buy-in in 2004 and at the same time is the majority shareholder of Salamander Industrie-Produkte, will leave the operational management at the end of the year. He will continue to support the company as Chairman of the Supervisory Board and member of the Advisory Board
