Götz Schmiedeknecht is the youngest managing partner of Salamander Industrie-Produkte GmbH and in his position is responsible for the Strategy Division & Business Development, Purchasing, Finance, Controlling, eCommerce and Marketing. In addition, he is also a member of the advisory and supervisory boards of all the major subsidiaries. The Salamander manager has long years of experience and know-how in the fields of strategic orientation and guidance of companies, marketing and in strategic and operative eBusiness at his command. He completed his internationally oriented degree in 1998, graduated as a business manager from the UAS Regensburg. He began his professional career in 1998 as a management consultant focussing on strategy development for medium-sized companies. He has worked in senior management positions at companies including Marc O’ Polo AG, s.Oliver Bernd Freier GbmH and most recently at PUMA AG.

Knut Schmiedeknecht, Dipl.-Kfm. [Degree in Business], is for many years partner and adviser of SIP.

Now he’ll support Salamander Industrial-Products GmbH also in operations.

As manager he is responsible for the departments IT, Bookkeeping, Lamination, Logistics, Development of Organisation and Controlling. These departments will profit from his long-time experience in management.

Dr. rer. pol. Heyo Schmiedeknecht is looking back on roughly 30 years industrial experience as managing director of international companies. In 1997 he completed his career as managing director. Since then he is working as an independent businessman. From 1998 until 2002 he was among other things busy working in the business of vinyl profiles.

Under his lead the negotiations with Salamander AG began at the end of 2003 preparing the management buy-out of Salamander Industrie-Produkte GmbH. This transaction was successfully finished in May 2004. After the management buy-out of the SIP GmbH he was the chairman of the management board of SIP for ten month until March 2005 with the objective to complete successfully this acquisition, which went according to plan. Subsequently he became the chairman of the advisory and supervisory board of the company. He organized the step out of five financial investors at the beginning of September 2006, took over more shares and is holding today directly and indirectly over 48 % of SIP GmbH. Due to this rearrangement of shares the management partners were able to increase their share-values. In connection with the changements in the management he joined again the management board of SIP GmbH in order to attend the growth process as well as to prepare the company for the corporate and organisational challenges of the coming years.

He is responsible for the business with the CIS states as well as for the departments marketing, systems engineering and the commercial divisions. Furthermore he supervises the subsidiary companies Salamander Bonded Leather GmbH & Co. KG, ttp GmbH and Brügmann Polska SP.z.o.o.

Wolfgang Sandhaus, certificated lawyer, joined the board of management on October 1, 2006. He is an experienced sales manager and is working for more than 15 years in management positions at the plastics-window industry. Wolfgang Sandhaus is responsible for the sales department at Salamander Industrie Produkte GmbH. Additional he is also the managing director of the subsidiary company SIP Productos Industriales S.A., Lugo,Spain.
